This is actually a pretty snappy little light "fixture" that works quite well in lighting-up a cabinet interior. I placed my unit in a corner cabinet consisting of a pull-out/pivoting double shelf, then allowing a pair of drawers to extend 90-degrees to the cabinet face. The light easily covers the interior of the cabinet with an ample amount of light. The proximity power switch also works quite well. As you would imagine, to some degree the biggest challenge is dressing the cabling - which depending on your level of 'neatness', will require a bit of finessing to achieve a clean look.
