So I found out, after I purchased, that these switches are not waterproof. Not a huge problem, except, if you read up on users experiences with them, you'll find out that over the years the spray gets into them. The spray will corode the switch terminals and leave you stranded. I ended up ordering a Blue Sea Systems 9001e. It's not only water proof, but you don't have to put the batteries in parallel on your way to putting the second battery on. If your main battery has a shorted cell, on your way from "1" to "2", you'll cross "ALL". "All" will effectivly put the shorted cell in your main battery across the terminals of your second battery. High current and heat WILL follow. The 9001e doesn't work this way and it's waterproof. Your call.

If you own a boat you know why this is a great product. A mandatory item to turn off the current to the dual batteries when the boat is not in operation.

Exact replacement for item already installed in boat. Problem was that the switch was located under the rear seat next the the batteries. When moving batteries the switch was cracked allowing moisture to entry and damage the switch. I relocated the switch outside of the seat allowing ease of operation, easy access and less risk for damage when moving the batteries.

It was easy to install with the directions. Easy to use and see. Good quality and low price. I would recommend this to anyone installing dual batteries in their boat.

Works like a charm!! Our old switch was very difficult to turn, and finally got corroded from use in a salt water environment. This new one is great - We love it!
