These are my second set of of this set. I really like the flexibility of the pot holders. One drawback, they are a bit thinner BUT that is why I got a second set. The flexibility is worth using two if needed. I have gotten burn more from stiff silicone that was thicker. I gave the second set of mitts away as a thank you gift.

The square pot holders are great. I even use them for protecting my table from hot pots it pans. But I hardly use the gloves as gloves anymore because they get pretty hot near the seams. I was pulling out a pan from the oven and nearly dropped my glass pan because it felt like I practically touched the pan with my bare hands. I now use them like the square ones but still hardly.
