This cotton canvas smock features long sleeves which provide children with all over prevention and with the front pocket children can put their art supplies in it and fetch them easily. Adjustable neck and waist straps also make this smock fit more children.

My son wears a 7-8 top and this thing is HUGE! It's very thick canvas. It's not loned, though, it will most likely absorb fluid if you spill enough on it. But for paint and such it's great.

This is an incredibly durable painting smock. I got the large size and it is pretty large for my 5 year old girl - I would say it could easily be used by children up to age 10 or 12, but she will be able to use it for years to come. I am going to consider looking for one in another color for my little boy just because these really do offer complete clothing protection for all kinds of messes.
