Yuan-Jing Cirrus Logic CS3310 Remote Control Preamplifier Kit with LCD Display
Yuan-Jing uses Cirrus Logic's CS3310 to create this low-noise digital volume control (that has less than 0.001% distortion) that has amazing stereo separation -- better than 110 dB of separation -- while being able to drive 600 ohm loads without a buffer.
Wirelessly control your amplifier with a wide range of adjustment from -95.5 dB of attenuation to 31.5 dB of gain (127 dB of control in 0.5 dB steps) using the included infrared remote control, while selecting from one of the three source inputs.
A digital rotary encoder, featuring 1 dB detents and a 5" pigtail harness, is included for precise local volume adjustments. Clicking the encoder changes the selected source from one of the three stereo inputs, and the two-line LCD display (with 11" pigtail harness) uses a potentiometer on the rear for adjustable brightness.
Three stereo sets of RCA inputs allow for quick, secure signal connection. A three-pin connector and wiring harness provides output for connection to your amplifier. The LCD board (with integrated IR receiver) measures 4" long, by 1-1/2" wide, by 1" high, while the rotary encoder is built using a 6 mm diameter shaft that is 20 mm long and threaded with a 3/8" nut. The main board measures 4" long, by 3" wide, by 1" high and the "split supply" power input requires a 6 to 12 VAC center-tapped transformer for operation (power transformer sold separately).
