I was hesitant to purchase this brace considering so many negative comments but figured for the price it was worth the risk. I'm glad I took that risk.This brace does exactly what I wanted. Of course, it would be more comfortable not to have to wear this brace but it's not uncomfortable wearing it. I find my shoulder is a little damp after wearing it all day but not excessively so. It does seem to breath a bit. I baby powder it and my shoulder when I put it on and that seems to make things better.There is a rubber type smell when I first opened the package. I think the only reason I was aware of it is because there were so many comments about the smell. I never gave it a thought after that and never have noticed it when wearing the brace. I don't think the smell is an issue.I'm going to order a second brace soon just to have as a backup.

Sizing was good for the chest, but depending on the circumference of your upper arm it may not fit. With skinny arms it was a little loose.
