The screen is extremely bright - even on the lowest setting, but I like waking up with the vibrating feature instead of a blaring loud alarm. I got a screen dimming cover that helped quite a bit.

Yes, I have hearing loss and use hearing aids. I can't wear them at night as they are very uncomfortable. Sadly, when I need to get up with an alarm, I can't hear it. Now with the Sonic Alert, it is loud enough for me to hear it without hearing aids. It also shakes me awake with the vibrator that goes under my pillow; therefore, it doesn't wake anyone else up. LOUD is what I needed but the SHAKE is a great advantage also. LOVE IT!

Pretty good quality, works good for my teenage son who is so hard to wake up. The only thing is that it is pretty light and easy to tip over. The vibrating piece works well when used under the pillow, and with the super load alarm. Now if I can just get him to set the alarm...

Purchased one of these about 6 years ago for my college-bound daughter. The next year, for my college-bound nephew. Just recently, for my son who will be going off to college next fall. Good clock!!! Very adjustable volume, buzzer sound and display brightness.

I have used this type of shake-awake alarm clock for years. My old one wore out and this was its replacement. It does what it is designed to do. I have to use a shake-awake because I am totally deaf.
