This book has helped me improve my fingerspelling tremendously. I have used it since my first ASL class and it has given me so many tools and exercises that have helped me build the dexterity needed to produce clear fingerspelling. There is always room to improve but this book will help get you there.

The finger-spelling drills are quick and the activities are fun. The book includes many different topic: cities, zip codes, sports, exotic places etc. I also use this book when I am working with my mentee. It helps me be prepared, and gives me great material to work with.

This book is so beneficial for beginning American Sign Language development skills, focusing on the major component of ASL of fingerspelling. This book breaks down so many of the rules to follow for clear and correct fingerspelling techniques and includes many practice exercises and activities that focus on learning and trying fingerspelling. This book is part of a cohesive series of ASL textbooks that go very well together as a unit and would be a good fit for any American Sign Language curricula.

This book is excellent in the aid of teaching new signing students how to really make their fingerspelling pop. It provides so many great drills and activities. As someone who struggles a lot with both expressive and receptive fingerspelling, I found this book especially helpful. It's guided me along the way as I just begin my journey to becoming a sign language interpreter.

This book has excellent drills for fingerspelling practice: some that focus on small words with specific letter combinations, and others that focus on longer words, titles, names, etc. This is perfect because I can study the longer words, and then if I find myself having trouble with a specific letter combination, I can go find the drill that focuses on that. It's a great resource, and I've used it for many more classes than required me to buy it.

This book is extremely helpful for aspiring interpreters or just anyone who wants to know the basics of ASL. There are exercises to help you prevent yourself from hurting your hands/wrists while you practice. There are many drills to help you figure out what could be a weak spot in your fingerspelling. If you go through and do the drills and practices, it truly helps immensely.
