Very disappointed in these. I have ordered other shears that were far more effective. These were not great the first time I tried them on my labradoodle, but they rapidly list the minimal effectiveness they had by the second use. They were not sharp and want to cross blades.

We have a terrified NewfyPoo afraid of electric clippers. I can usually get him to let me cut back his hair with these.

These are sharp, work great, especially, on my Tibetan Mastiff, and she doesn't shy away from these, like she does those buzzing electric trimmers !

Blades were sharp and worked well, but one of the plastic handles broke off on the 3rd use and before the shears were 2 weeks old. I won't be buying these again.

This was basically useless, tried to shear my sheep and it would not even cut her fine wool. I ended up using my fiskar household scissors and they worked well. If you are planning on using this to shear sheep, don't bother
