I had surgery and purchased this tray to keep medications, water, glasses, computer, and to have a place to eat during my recovery. This tray exceeded my expectations and is perfect! I just kept it beside me on the bed and everything was in arms reach and the lip of the tray kept everything on the tray perfect. One of the best purchases I have made in a long time! On top of it being a perfect bedside table, it is very pretty too! A++ I highly recommend! Don't understand why anyone would have anything negative to say about this awesome little find!

Everything worked great with this table.I only gave it 4/5 stars because the actual bottom of the tray is very thin. It is like thin plywood. It does the job and isn't going to give way or anything, but I thought they could have used wood maybe even 1/4 thicker at least. Other than that it is built pretty solid for what it is. Legs fold underneath for a flush stance if you don't want to use them it is like they aren't even there.

THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT WOULD BE A LOCK FOR THE LEGS IN ORDER TO MAKE IT STURDIER AND POSSIBLY A PLASTIC BOTTOM TO CATCH SPILLS

My husband and I tend to watch TV and eat in bed, so I thought something like this would be helpful. I was iffy about ordering this because of the bad reviews. But, I also did not want to spend $200 for two tables- so I went with this one. I bought it expecting it to be cheaply made with wobbly legs. Now, one of them did come with damaged wood on the table top- but the other was perfectly fine. Aside, from the damaged wood, they are great. They're sturdy and are actually quite nice looking. I would definitely recommend them. They fit between the small space that is in between our bed and nightstands, so I keep one on each side of the bed. We have cherry wood nightstands & a cherry wood bed, so it blends right in. I think what you get is good for the money.
