I have to surmise that it's better than nothing. The filter is used in a pop-up camping trailer. I remove the filter prior to sanitizing and flushing-out the fresh water tank, hot water heater tank, and the pump, faucets, and supply lines. The filter does not eliminate the post-rinse leftover odor and taste of the chlorine bleach sanitizer, though perhaps it could be worse without the filter. My household water does not ordinarily have any objectionable odors or tastes. I also remove the filter when emptying out the camper water system as winter approaches.

Filter seems to work. water dont smell anymore and it seems to filter very well. First time used the hardness of the water, you dont feel it even tho it still there after testing, nice. The taste of meals that use the water are noticeably better. Water comes out without restriction at 2.2 GPM. I have to say this is one of the best filters I have used. I am sold by the quality of filtration on such small filter compared to 10" standard ones. Im using this on one sink only and it is def cheaper then other filters sold at stores.
