Bought for a mostly screen-accurate Captain Kirk costume, and they certainly fit what I was looking for! Quality is pretty decent, but there is a strong rubber smell right out of the box. Zipper and laces are both welcome. Probably wouldn't recommend for casual or extended wear.

After reading the reviews I was not expecting perfection but I am pleasantly surprised. They are not leather but they are not normal costume grade synthetic either. Nice and thick with a good feel and fit. Only negative would be the shininess but that can be taken care of in thousands of ways including just rubbing them down with a handful of dirt for a more authentic pirate look.

You can't beat these boots for the price. I like that they have a zipper in the back to make them really easy to put on and take off. I think they run just a little big. They feel to me to be more like a 11.5 or 12 rather than 11 but I took out an insert from a pair of running shoes and put it in the boots and that really helped.

The boots were true to size, though my son said that they took a while to start breaking in. All in all, they completed his look, and still felt pretty good so we were all happy :)

These boots were great, definitely on the cheap end, but looked right with the pirate captain costume we purchased them for. They weren't the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn, but for the price, they worked great. They are decently made, I think they'll last us several more Halloweens and productions, especially since a few scuff marks will only make them look more authentic.

I bought these for my fiance to wear with his Captain Morgan pirate costume. He wears a size 13 so I wasn't sure they'd fit. Not only did they fit him, he said they were VERY comfortable and were like wearing house shoes. I wish I could say the same about my high heeled boots (which I did not purchase form you.)
