we ordered these to pair with the Assassin's Creed costume. it was perfect! I thought they'd be brown, but maybe I was remembering wrong cause it clearly says black lol. the little ties on the side & the cloth style really went great for the costume! i don't think they'd hold up well with daily use, but for a Halloween accessory they were great! and I liked the price. the other ones we were considering were twice as much but these went with the look better plus was cheaper ;) he'll def be using them again with the costume :D and the sizing was perfect. I was worried cause I had to order him the largest size so if they were too small a larger size wasn't possible. worked out great though!

These need some insoles added but in general GREAT! I bought these for hubby to be to wear for our renaissance wedding and he LOVES them. he has very wide feet and these had LOTS of room to spare.

I walked around in these boots all day with my kilt and ,my feet did not hurt one bit. While they are not the best quality, they make good costume boots for a weekend out a Renaissance Faire. Unfortunately the soles are so thin, I had to wear them with thick socks and will have to bve replaced soon. All in all, they served their purpose well, hard as they are to tie up on your own.

I was Murderface from Metalocalypse's Dethklok on Adult Swim and these boots were perfect. They were inexpensive and looked great. Anyone else who wants to be this obscure character should think about buying these boots.

I had received a gift card from my employer, and was at a loss for what to do with it. I have been in or around the re enactment crowd for nearly 20 years, and needless to say the old pair of engineer boots I wore were looking rather shoddy.I found the site after a moment on google, saw the boots, thought about it for all of 30 seconds and made my purchase. I am a larger man and was worried that the boots would be tight around my calf. You can imagine my surprise when I received than only two days later, and found to my extreme delight that they fit very well.I wore them around the house on Christmas, to try them for comfort. I was very happy with both the look and feel of them. I purchased these boots for a stage production. They were perfect for the costume (a Russian) but I know I will have many uses for them in the future. They seem durable enough for outdoors, but I would stay out of the rain and mud.
