These little heavy and extremely well built beauties are handling wattage wattage from a Soundstream Rubicon 600.4, and are playing alongside my Focal expert Series 6 and 3/4 components which are also run off of the Soundstream amplifier. The Peerless speakers in the 2-inch diameter fill in a nice upper mid-range Gap that the tweeters just cannot produce on their own. These are only rated at 20 watts I have them on about 60-75 clean Watts and they absolutely sound flawless on this much power $ $ THEY DID NOT SOUND GREAT, REALLY AT ALL, ON MY KENWOOD EXCELON SPEAKER WIRE FEEDS. THEY NEED AT LEAST 20-30 WATTS RMS TO BE POWERED PROPERLY........ALL OTHER FACTORY SPEAKERS SOUNDED FINE ON THE $34;17W RMS 45W PEAK - PER CHANNEL34;$ WHAT A LOAD....ALWAYS USE ...NICELEY THOUGHT OUGHT MOUNTING,...ROUTING of wiring,....and COOLING for CLASS A A/B ...
