I purchased these for my 29lb, 3 year old Boston terrier. He has big protruding eyeballs, even more so than what is typical for a Boston terrier breed. He is a curious and high energy dog, often he's nosing around where he shouldn't be. Over the years he's had dozens of eye injuries, scratches, and emergency vet visits. I heard about Doggles and figured it would be worth a try.

I was really bummed out when these doggles arrived. In the picture shown for this product it looks like the lenses are clear, which is what I wanted and what I thought I was purchasing. The lenses did not come clear, they are called "smoke." I've reread the description several times in case I missed this detail, but I don't see the lens color mentioned. It does say the lenses are interchangeable, but does not say where to purchase different lenses, or even if they offer a clear lens. My dog absolutely hates wearing these. He just lays down and won't move if I put them on him. I honestly think he would tolerate them more if the lens was clear, I think the dark lens is upsetting for him.

They do fit well, but are not a perfect fit for my dog. These doggles leave a small gap on the outer corner of each eye. The head and jaw strap make it easier to secure the doggles properly on his face.
