Used this to build a diy pex un-coiler. I saved about $500 vs buying one.

I used these underneath 3 round boards from Lowes to make three monster 24" lazy susans for our spice cabinet. These are fantastic, and easily support a fully loaded 24" round (40+ pounds). Obviously, be sure to have your centering of the ring PERFECT before screwing it to the underside of a board, and short wood screws with low-profile heads work fine without pilot holes (at least in my spruce boards). Also, don't have all the heaviest stuff on just one side of the susan. (Although there were no wobbles to mine as I was loading it up.) Before attaching the rings to the boards, I did add some oil to the full complement of ball bearings inside the Shepherd, but don't overdo it. These rings are silent and solid, and I will buy them again to make more susans for gifts. 5 stars.
