These 2 counter protectors replace one from the 1950s that probably had asbestos as the backing - YIKES. These are perfect.

I had these for over ten years and now needed to replace them. I was thrilled that they are still available. They are lightweight, stay in place, and can be tucked away easily. Great for my minimalistic kitchen.

I like the padding under the hot plate. It protects our granite and if you spill something it absorbs a little too. I like the diamond design. The previous design we had was just plain and flat. This is much more modern and we get a lot of compliments. We love so much we purchased various sizes so we can put them under our appliances that sit on the counter. Wonderful item

These are just great little hot pads. I love the non-slip bottoms and they are rather sturdy.I have the large one also, but these are great little extras to have when you are cooking a number of dishes.
