Nice and thick. Used it to make a custom iron on sweatshirt and it worked great. Ironed on smooth and after multiple washed, the fabric and image are holding up.

I love this sweatshirt, its insanely soft and comfortable. I got a large and am 5'6", 180 pounds with a chest and some hips/belly. It fits me loosely and I can pair it with leggings for almost a tunic look. It is on the boxier side though, thanks to my build and the size, so I wouldn't call it flattering by any stretch, but i'll take comfort over flattery more days than not. It washes well, no issues with color fade, pilling, shrinking, etc (cold water wash, tumble dry for ten minutes then I hang dry).

American Apparel clothes still have that signature look and feel even after going defunct and getting bought out and spun off by another major brand. It is still decent quality as far as I can determine, but it definitely does not have the sturdy, well stitched quality that I came to expect in the days of made in USA American Apparel. This is of course not made in the USA. I have my doubts it will last anywhere near as long as some of the OG American Apparel garments I still have in rotation in my wardrobe 15 years on from original purchase. It is however, a perfectly acceptable and nice looking/feeling garment for the price. YMMV

This is a great, thick sweatshirt that has the softest fuzzies inside. Even after several washes, the color has not faded and the fabric seems to have become even more soft. The color is almost a seafoam green, and true to the pictures. The size was also within my expectations and didn't seem to shrink after washing and drying. American Apparel offers high-quality products. They may look basic, but you know you are buying something that will last.

This is a nice style and material for a simple basic sweatshirt. The material is thinner than a lot of sweatshirts but it's not flimsy and still warm. It's soft, not bulky and stiff like cheap sweatshirts can be. It has a pretty standard unisex fit. I'm a 5', 115lb female and the small fits me nicely oversized. The waistband is a little tighter so it doesn't fall down over my legs so I do have to wear it at my waist and let the sweatshirt blouse out. I washed and dried this in my regular laundry and it came out fine, I didn't notice any shrinkage.

It runs a bit small. I ordered a 2XL and it fits me comfortably. Maybe I'm lacking in self-awareness, but I don't think I'm a 2XL. This was post first wash. Now, for the good stuff: This thing is like wearing a summer cloud. Soft, flexible, warm. Light. Utterly wonderful. It's my new favorite sweater, and it is priced aggressively. Buy big and embrace the chill-ness, while avoiding ever actually being chill. Cuz it'll keep you warm. Maybe I'm bad at jokes.

This is one of those staple sweatshirts that you'll keep coming back to on a cozy or comfy day, but it works as athleisure style too. I like that it's soft but not too hot. Good for days when the temperature may go up and down. Especially for the price, it's definitely worth adding as a staple to your wardrobe. I'll prolly get another color. Grab one!

I'm still a big fan of the baggy and oversized look. I sized up from small to large (which can be risky to go for such a big jump) but it paid off! The shoulders and sleeves aren't so terribly large that they swallow me but I still get a comfortable over-sized look. This is also probably- no- definitely the softest sweatshirt I own. I knew it would be good as its American Apparel. Its just so soft and comfy! Its a really good early spring top for those of us in the states that get seasons. Highly recommend.
