I was concerned when I arrived. Got to assembling it today and my concerns resolved. It's not heavy duty, but it will protect my sub. The paint is good but it requires a bit of effort to land the screws tight, but that helps replace the need for lock tight. I've got it over a 10' Skar VD10, and it has 1/2' clearance on both sides.
