The beans are fresh, and very clean, it almost does not require to pre-wash them before cooking. I used Instant Pot to cook the beans for Red Bean Paste filling for Chinese/Japanese pastries. It is so easy. Cook 1.5 cup beans/1 cup of sugar/5 cup of water for 40 minutes with instant pot vent closed. Then cook 25 minutes again with the vent open to cook down the extra liquid. It is done. Bean paste is delicious.

I really enjoy these beans cooked and mixed with quinoa, veggies, and cooked mung beans. For even more proten, I add a small amount of meat or shrimp. They need to be soaked overnight and then cooked for 30-35 minutes /-. They overcook easily though.

I read these beans were the healthiest choice among beans, and Im happy to report theyre tasty too!I have had good success putting a cup in my rice cooker, covering with 2 inches of water, and setting it to brown rice. Takes a good hour and they come out great, although I do have a little water left to drain.I especially like using these in veggie filled quesadillas my gang enjoys. Theyre smaller than black beans so hold together better with my cheese-less version of these.Glad I tried them!

These seem fine for making smooth anko paste. I noticed when measuring them out they are smaller size and duller (less shiny surface of the bean) than the adzuki beans I bought at a local asian store. Taste fine though!

Enjoying adzuki bean sprouts for the first time. Slower to sprout than mung beans and field peas but worth the wait. Beans are clean. Will order again.

I love aduki beans. Soaked them overnight. After 1 hour of cooking in water - they are still hard, not yet edible. Don't know why. (?) The expiration date is 2025.

I am picky about texture. I don't eat peas, lima beans, butter beans or kidney beans. But these beans are now going to be a regular for me.They sprout well, which is easy to do and removes antinutrients of beans.I have bought other beans from the same company and it is a company I suggest as I am very pleased with all purchases of their beans. If texture is an issue try the Adzuki beans.
