If the product is damaged and notations have been made on the delivery receipt, please do one of the following:
1. Keep the whole shipment and we will compensate the cost of repair if needed, or we can replace the damaged unit for a new one if marked DAMAGED.
2. Refuse just part of the shipment and keep the non-damaged items, then let us know about your decision. A new replacement will be re-shipped to you only if notations with the word DAMAGED have been made. Also, please provide photos of the damage if possible.
If you accept the damaged package without any notation on the delivery receipt, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGED PRODUCT AND WE ARE UNABLE TO REPLACE ANY PARTS OR COMPENSATE ANY REPAIR COSTS.
We highly recommend that you do not schedule gate installations prior to receiving your gate due to possible shipment delays and/or damages.

I was so upset with the assembling of this product I took the sawzall to it and scrapped it. What a waste of money.

it is not well made. It has many issues with alignment, and bad bolts that threads are easily get stripped.

I received the Pergola, the box was intact with no signs of damage. Upon opening I noticed three parts of the main support posts had damage. The damage must have occurred at the factory because the box was intact. One of the damaged posts was too bad to use and, to the credit of Aleko, they had the replacement part to me in about one week. The instructions are quite bad, especially with refence to installing the canopy. The large recessed black screws (M M6x15) were made of very poor material. Five of them stripped and could not be used. This was not an error on my part, I'm an aircraft mechanic and know how “not” to strip screws. One of the screws didn't even have threads cut into it (see picture). Luckily, I had 4 of the M6x16 screws left over (spares) and they fit, plus one screw that I found that worked.It was a pain to assemble especially with the poor instructions and bad hardware. I would not necessarily recommend “not” to buy it, but I highly suggest doing your homework first. One thing I was pleased with was that eight concrete anchors also came with the hardware. The Pergola is somewhat flimsy but if you have it in a low wind area it should be fine.

The pergola is nice and seems sturdy enough we are bolting the legs to the patio where we poured concrete. What was provided didn't appear to provide the sturdiness we were going for. The instructions were complicated.Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase

Great pergola for the price! Fabric is waterproof and it's so nice to sit under and eat during a quick rain shower! Definitely a two man assembly but goes together easily-instructions are very clear! We're already thinking about buying a second for another area in the yard. 10/10 would recommend!
