I use this pump submerged in a 3000 gallon, 4 ft deep, pond drawing water thru a bio-filter, with a waterfall rise of about 3 ft. This pump does an excellent job.

I've been using my pump since 2001 and had to replace the impeller once. Danner has a 3 year warranty on this product and when I called them to get a new ceramic bearing for the inside of the pump after 7 years they sent it to me at no charge and it had it in 2 days. They are energy efficient and reliable.
