I've had my watch since I joined the Army and it's been going strong since! Changed the battery after 8 years and only now is the wrist strap needing replaced. It's been through some rough use for sure. We've been together daily for over a decade and I'd be sick if I lost this thing.

Been using this type of watch for over 35-40 years. Battery last almost forever! Resistance to water is A timer, date/days easy to read. Light illumination is a plus. Must read instruction manual to setup functions!

I would have said the Mudman was 1 until I had one of the plastic covered buttons fail on me after about 18 months of hard use- decided to give this one a try- much better.

I've worn many G-Shocks since the 1980's. I wore the original DW5600 while in the military and later the DW6900 on my job. After about 35 years of use they are pretty much the only watch I use on a daily basis. I've backpack, done construction, worked as a police officer, and generally been a knuckle dragger and the DW6900 just keeps working. I'll probably die with one on my wrist. The only complaint I have, and I'm nitpicking here, is I wish Casio would redesign the face to get rid of the silly little circular dials and replace it with larger numerals. The little circles are kinda silly and serve no real purpose. The digit size wasn't a problem until I became a man of a certain age. Regardless, I'll always have a G-Shock till I die!
