We grew accustomed to using a white noise machines with our kids. When they got their own rooms we realized we were spoiled and needed something. If you’re familiar with the original dohm fan, this is more like the electronic cousin. More modern. You can pick between spa noises, rain, waves, etc. It’s not bad. It sounds a little digital, because it is. But, it helps me sleep. I would buy again.

So, I cannot sleep in complete silence. I have always just used a box fan. Well, this little machine is a game changer when it’s winter and cold! I set it to Doha 4 and it gives just about the same sound as the fan. I set it up where my fan usually sits so the the noise would be coming from that same direction. I am so impressed. It actually works. I am able to sleep just like I did before without having the cold air blowing on me. I love it, and can’t sing enough praises about this.

Hard to tell what sound is on - no light on sounds to identify which is running. Otherwise a good product.

This unit works for me. It really has just a fan noise and not all the fancier sounds other devices have. It can be adjusted to the noise level.

I really like this but the power button doesn't always work. I have to unplug it and plug it back in regularly to either turn off or on.

This is exactly what I was looking for. There variety of sound options is perfect and the volume levels are great. I haven't tried the timing function yet but great that the option is there for that.

I really love this product and has a bunch of sound options and volume settings. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because after a few days it will not turn on with the button anymore unless you unplug it. Which then resets it and you have to try and put it back to your original setting. Although it is not that big of a deal, it does get alittle irritating because you’ll set it up exactly how you want it and then have to try to match that same setting after it gets reset. I am a person that relies on a sound machine. I don’t know if everyone experiences the same issue or if mine has a malfunction.

We sleep with an air purifier that sounds like a fan when we travel we used to lug around a small fan. Last month we were in a hotel room that had one of these. It worked great in helping us have the white noise we are used to and fits in one hand! We bought one as soon as we got home and have been traveling with it ever since!

I have been using this specific sound machine for four years now. I have one for my oldest and one for my youngest. I feel that the sound machine could be louder. For comparison the sound machine I’ve had for four years seems like it’s a bit low now (maybe from overuse) so we bought another. When trying them both, the old one was still louder than the newer one.

Always have nature sounds on when I go to sleep. This provides a variety of options. I stays on all night, if desired. Just wish it included a plug adapter for the USB 'plug' since my home does not have USB in the wall outlets. Cord could be a lot longer.

Easy to set up, note that you have to use a usb charger to power on. It does come with a USB-cable, but not the plug in adapter. Overall, a clean design, although the ring around the top layout for functions and timer is perhaps not the best. Sound quality is great. Aside from the location of the controls, my only other criticism is the timer options of only 6 or 8 hours. It would have been better to have shorter duration options to use for naps. Otherwise a good product at a good price.
