Yamaha's AG03 transforms your PC, Mac or even your iPad into a virtual radio station so you can spread your message to the world. With a surprisingly easy setup process, you can produce content with high-resolution sound, for real-time or on-demand broadcast over digital streaming platforms such as Ustream, Twitch.tv, or YouTube.

The new AG Series mixers from Yamaha start with the same D-PRE premium mic preamps developed by Yamaha for high-end recording consoles, capable of capturing the most detailed nuances of your vocal or instrumental performance. Then, they add super flexible connectivity and a cadre of 21st century features to make it easier than ever to deliver high quality audio to your audience, whatever your media preference might be.
The AG03 provides a combination input jack that will accept XLR or 1/4" connectors, and provides switchable phantom power for condenser microphones. There is a dedicated 1/4" input for high impedance instruments such as guitar or bass guitar, so you can record these instruments directly, without the need for a DI, or direct box. You also get stereo 1/4" connections for keyboards, samplers, and other line level input sources. And as if that weren't enough, there are 3.5 mm jacks for a conventional computer-style headset, excellent for computer gamers who want to record or live stream epic battles and heroic adventures!
On the output side, you have 1/4" or RCA L/R monitor jacks, and a 1/4" headphone jack, each with their own level control.
On the USB interface side, you have a 2x2 USB connection which allows you to send audio data between your computer and the mixer. AG's high-quality design enables 192 kHz / 24-bit sound that can reproduce even the most subtle intricacies of your original recordings. If you use ASIO compatible playback software, you can bypass the internal mixer in your computer and reproduce the original sound even more faithfully. This capability is ideal for capturing the purest reproduction of your analog recordings when archiving your treasured record or tape collection.
The LOOPBACK function enables live broadcasting of all the microphones, instruments and other audio sources connected to your AG mixer, along with background music from your PC / Mac or iPad. 1-Touch COMP / EQ can add clarity and focus to your sound with the simple click of a button. And, just like an authentic radio broadcast, you can add reverb with the 1-Touch EFFECT - or sound effects from an external device at will. You can even connect a footswitch (sold separately) to switch the effect on and off hands-free!
For the user who wants even more control and awesomeness, the multi-platform AG DSP Controller software app lets you access and edit the compressor, EQ, high-pass filter, reverb, and amp simulator parameters of your 1-Touch DSP. EASY mode gives you precise, intuitive control, while EXPERT mode allows you more detailed adjustment of your parameters.
The AG Series are built on a tough metal body, and are extremely portable. Perfectly suited for field and location recording, your AG mixer can be powered via the USB bus, or by a USB mobile battery pack (sold separately). It can also be mounted to a microphone stand with the BMS-10A mic stand adapter (sold separately). And at only 5.1" x 8" x 2.5", your AG03 won't eat up all your desk space.
