Creation of a separate chamber for the speaker's rear radiation also tightens bass response, reduces distortion, and minimizes the intrusion of road noise though the speaker's cone. The baffle's flexible, long lasting non-degrading composition does not absorb water.
The XTC foam baffle construction also creates an airtight seal for the speaker but also decouples it to prevent annoying speaker-to-panel resonances. Useful in car doors, rear decks, and other interior panels, as well as sub-enclosures for midrange drivers used in large home or PA speaker systems. For use with 6-1/2" to 6-3/4" speakers. 3" deep.
