I like that it provides plenty of fun in a small space.

I think one of the few positives from these COVID times is that families have been at home more, and there seems to have been a revival of home cooking. That's the report I get, although we were always a cooking family, so it has not been a big change for us. When children see Mom and Dad cooking, rather than just opening take out packages, they want to do that too. I have always observed that when small children have a play kitchen, it gets used constantly. I like this one because it's wood, and I hope it will last, since I have donated it to a classroom for small children with disabilities. My own grandchildren have now grown beyond the age of play kitchens, so after checking it out, I thought this was the best home for it.I do want to mention that I've seen a lot of play kitchens, and this one is especially attractive. I like the softer colors, and the fact that it doesn't scream plastic. It probably does need to be handled with a bit of care, but then, that's a good lesson too, taking care of things so they will last and you can have fun with them for a long time!

The Giant Bean Pretend Play Kitchen is a fun, adorable item once assembled, but it took a retired engineer about two hours to assemble. (I would say 2.5 hours, but the two year old assisting for a half hour was much more hinderance than help). The instructions contain tiny diagrams that are hard to see and there are no written instructions. The kitchen requires 6 AAA batteries, which are not provided. All the necessary parts for assembly were included in the box.The kitchen does not take up a lot of space, but has a lot of fun features. It is a very interactive toy. The vent has lights that turn on and it makes a fan noise. The microwave has a light. The burners also light up and make 2 different noises. There are also knobs that turn for the burners and washing machine. The kitchen seems relatively sturdy, but must be up against a wall because it would be easy to flip. Once assembled, my two year old was very excited about his new kitchen and began playing with it immediately. The oven, washing machine, and microwave are all large enough to fit my son's cars and fire truck. It has kept his exclusive attention for almost a half hour already. I think he will really enjoy playing in his new kitchen.

I love the features of this kitchen. So great for the price and I found it easy to put together. Took about an hour with a toddler ‘helping' me. Also looks so much more stylish than others I have looked at for this price.
