Purchased as a gift for my 2.5 year-old grandson. He likes the video, The Star, which tells the Christmas story. He uses the nativity figurines to retell the story. I chose this set because the infant Jesus figurine is separate and can be laid in the manger or held by Mary. Although they are resin, the figurines are delicate, and we have had two casualties: one of the arms of the angel broke off when it fell over, and one hand broke off of Mary when she fell over. We plan on gluing the parts back on, but it would be helpful if the figurines were available separately, so they could be replaced as needed.
