I purchased this shelving unit to display items in my direct sales business. It assembles quickly, folds easily, and looks great! It's very lightweight and not cumbersome to carry. My ONLY complaint is that it can easily chip on the legs with a lot of use if you aren't careful when packing/unpacking it for use. I've gotten many compliments on it and use it regularly, so this minor issue isn't a big deal to me. But it might be to someone else.

Easy to put together, fold nice and flat. I use this for a business, where I need to pack it up and cart it around, so it looks good: pretty well made, and it's light enough to move around and pack up easily! Just what I wanted. Was surprised that the quality is as good, for the price.

I've purchased a number of these book cases over past decades and, as other reviewers have said, now you have to assemble the pieces rather than just unpack and unfold. But assembly went just fine. Everything fit perfectly. This new version is not, however, as stackable as the earlier ones, hence 4 stars instead of 5. The old ones had holes drilled in the top and bottom edges, and included dowels to put in the holes if you wanted to stack units and finished plugs to put in the top if you did not want to stack them. The new ones have no holes, just slight convexity in the top edges and concavity on the bottom edges. Two metal strips with 4 screws each are designed to link two stacked units up the back edge of the uprights. Stacked units would not be nearly as securely fastened to each other as the older units are--so I'm using these new ones only where one unit high is all I want.

I was quite impressed with this product. It appears to be sturdy solid wood throughout, no cheap particleboard. It has some weird cut-out holes on the rear underside of the shelves apparently from the manufacturing process, but they are not visible in a normal use setting. It was expertly packaged but had some minor scratch damage which probably occurred during handling at the factory. I don't consider it to be ultra high-end furniture, and not necessarily intended to be the centerpiece for your living room. But the price/quality ratio is very good. Overall I am very pleased and will likely buy again if I need another one.

I have a very similar book case from several years ago and I wanted the new one to match the old one. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same. I had to put this one together, which didn't require much time, but my older one was already put together in the packaging. Also you need to screw both shelving units together, as suppposed to just stack in my old one. But it does the job for now. I may but another one in

This is exactly as advertised. I had no trouble reading the directions for putting it togther and it looks great.

I bought the shelf crafted of solid beech wood. It is very solid after assembly. Not the easiest to assemble, took about 30 - 40 minutes. Helps to have a 2nd person for part of the assembly. I would purchase again and recommend to others. Just follow the instructions closely.

These bookcases are v. functional. They can stand side by side or can be stacked. there is a metal piece that you screw onto the back to hold them together.I have had 2 sets of these book cases and I can really recommend them. I use them stacked.

I ordered it to serve as something simple to stack towels in the bathroom. It was better than I expected. Good quality, strong and sturdy, and nice looking as well.
