Side table was packed well, good instructions, easy assembly. I believe this is real wood (weighs 32lbs), not laminated particle board and looks even better with a coat of satin polyurethane on the top surface. One of the eight pre-drilled holes was misaligned, but did not affect quality of assembly.

Although my first order had to be returned because it was damaged, I'm giving it 5 stars. I reordered the table and it was perfect. Very easy to put together ( I did it myself)

Very sturdy piece, not cheap press board. Easy to assemble. Baskets are nice and decorative. Good finish and overall very nice.

this arrived quickly and was very easy to put together (this from someone who is not noted for assembly skills). i had just purchased a new recliner and wanted a side table to complement the look and be a usable table for the recliner- it fits the bill perfectly. with the supplied allen wrench and simple instructions it was a breeze to put together and is quite sturdy. no wobbles and a nice heft means you won't be ashamed to have it on display in the living room. on close inspection the finish is not perfect, but only on the underside that is not viewable unless you turn it over and examine it closely. otherwise, the finish looks great-only time and use will tell if it will hold up. as we use coasters and take care of our furniture i don't see any problems. the baskets are an easy and attractive storage solution for a variety of objects- they look better than plain drawers would look in my opinion.all-in-all a nice piece-not museum quality but your not paying for that anyway. i would not hesitate to purchase another one if the need arose....

We bought two of these to go on either side of our couch. They look great and were easy to put together. They are sturdy and exactly what we were looking for. My only criticism is that the top of the table isn't completely smooth. I'm thinking about getting some glass to go on top to give it a sharper look. Still, I'm more than pleased with the buy.
