The requirements for ESD-safe screwdrivers are specified in the European standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. This standard also includes a handle that has to be out of a defined conductive material. The Wera products in the ESD series satisfy these standards and the even more stringent requirements demanded by some technology companies.
The electric surface resistance of the Wera ESD material is ≤ 10^9 ohm. This securely protects components against electrostatic energy and associated damage.

Was the perfect screwdriver for opening up my xbox one controller. The screwdriver is magnetic so there is no fumbling around for small security screws. It saved me 70 bucks + tax from having to buy another Xbox One 3.5mm lunar white controller. I know I could have bought a cheaper controller but the Lunar White one matches my custom pc setup the best.<br /><br />Almost forgot make sure you have a magnetic tray for the screws. They are really easy to loose.

These screwdrivers work great where many others have failed. We use these for PCB control board connections. The rotating head helps to keep pressure on the screw with your palm. The tip is hard and does not twist as others have. We have used other Wera and other brands of screwdrivers and they have failed where this one excels.

This screwdriver helped me remove clip screws from my pocket knives. I stripped two different tools from big box stores before I found these Wera Torx. I had previously given up on getting these screws out.
