The versatile GF200 8" woofer from Visaton uses dual 4 ohm voice coils to give you multiple wiring configurations allowing this woofer to work in many different applications. With an Fs of 35 Hz and 10 mm Xmax, this driver works great as a subwoofer, however the low inductance and smooth response to over 5,000 Hz also makes it perfect for use as a woofer in 2 and 3-way designs. The rigid fiberglass cone supported by a rubber surround and large diameter flat spider minimizes unwanted resonances and keeps excursion linear for extremely low distortion. The voice coil can handle high power for extended periods of time, thanks to ample venting through the cast aluminum basket and motor.
