this ladder is perfect for those who have issues with arthritis or knee issues, it is easier to use than the ladder that came with the pool. It is a little light, makes it easy to move when needed, but can tip when getting out of the pool

Got these for a 5 foot high above ground pool. Wasn't to hard to put together. Took about a hour taking my time and my son belong out. I wouldn't say it would be easy if you don't have any kind of skill or tools. I used a drill for most of it. Assembled it out of the pool then lifted it over and in. Worked great for us. Plus my wife is 4'11' and the step distance isn't a issue for her.

I have mobility issues, especially climbing stairs. This ladder was advertised as to make pool entry/exit safer for the disabled. There are only 4 steps on each side of the ladder; too wide of space between steps for me. Going to try and use it, but future pool ladder makers need to see if they can add an extra step or shorten distance between steps.

Works well. Wasn't too difficult to assemble. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Went together easily and is sturdy. I didn't use the gate because I didn't like that it only opened to straight out, but my back yard is completely fenced and I really don't need the gate anyway. I recommend this item

Bought for parents above ground pool 18x33. The pool is 54 inches high. The specs on the ad reflect up to 56 inches tall. It's not even close. It's only for pools for 43 inches tall at the most. Extremely false. Bought in July and parents went into hospital so just now putting it together. Cannot return and I'm guessing no money back now. What a waste of time and money. Extremely pissed off to say the least. Parents thought I ordered wrong ladder when the seller advertised WRONG size in the specs.

I like the locking gate! It is much easier than removing part of ladder and locking in shed. The stairs are much better and safer than ladder for getting in and out of pool. Also, once gate is closed, you can store a few pool noodles behind locked gate.

Used it for 1 week. Door no longer shuts on his own. Rails are not sturdy. They bend easily where the screws are.

Feel more comfortable using this ladder going in and out of the pool. The only suggestion is that is says to add pebbles to weight down the ladder but once you do that it makes the ladder to heavy for one person to place it in the pool

The only dislike is it's stability in the pool needs weights. Other wise it's heavy duty.

Bought this to replace a ladder. They are MUCH more sturdy and makes it much easier to get in and out of the pool. I weight just over 300lbs and even the ladder that say they can handle 300 lbs just want to sway from side to side. These won't!! Would definitely recommend for any with the same problem.

It's great to have steps up and down. The door doesn't stay open when you are in the pool so getting out requires someone to open it. Then I noticed that the plastic joint that connects the door at the top is bending and now the door won't lock. Have no clue what I'm going to do now.

These stairs are so much sturdier and safer than the ladder that came with our above ground Intex pool. They took about 30 minutes to assemble - and my husband added a couple 5 pound weights inside to anchor them down. We highly recommend! Only problem is that our creepy pool cleaner gets stuck between the steps and the side of the pool from time to time - but not a big deal.

It's durable enough, but not at all as sturdy as I would've thought for the price, particularly the railings. It's also worth mentioning you will also need gravel to help hold it down. Something we found out about halfway through putting it together.
