Installed these on our pontoon cover a couple of weeks ago. The buttons in the cover that two of the support poles snapped into wore through the canvas and these were a perfect way to fix it and vent the cover all at the same time.

Really great product idea. I was really simple/easy to install. I haven't had them on the boat long enough to see how well they perform but I bet really well. I put 3 on my 22 foot bay boat and seems about right. I larger version (if ever available) or more units might even be a good idea for more air movement but we will see.

My first review stated the item was delivered so tightly screwed together impossible to open. I bought two brand new vents. They arrived together in the same package. One was very easy to unscrew. I have been unable to unscrew the second. The only way to use the part is to remove the nut to separate the pieces in order to fit the fabric between and then screw back together. If you can't separate the pieces you can't use the vent. I'm disappointed someone would allow a new part to be sent out this way.Otherwise the parts seem excellent. I wouldn't let this issue stop you from buying.9/19/2021:I called the company directly and explained. They quickly offered to sent a brand new replacement at no charge. Very happy with their response. Product is excellent.
