Got these to replace an ATT system which - to my surprise and chagrin - seemed to go out of its way to be difficult to use. They are larger than expected. Not a bad thing. Much easier to see. High contrast. Clear audio. And love the direct easy to use 4-position memory.Also speaks out the numbers as they are dialed - this can be turned off.All in all a nice replacement for older people. The only people still using landlines. Ha.Display could be better, but it's as good as anything else I've found.Could provide a computer linking function to make phone book population easier. Not like I have seen that obvious thing anywhere else though. All in all, in a world of mediocre products, it is mediocre plus plus.Good enough for a solid win.

This phone was purchased for my 89 year old aunt with macula degeneration. She especially likes the four speed dial buttons that can be set up on the base using photos of the person she wants to call. The buttons on the hand set are larger. This is very helpful.

Easy basic set up. Big buttons, loud announcement of who is incoming and outgoing calls. Mainly chose this for the visual speed dial buttons for my grandmother. Similar price to other answer machine hand helds or cheaper. Perfect if you have a senior in your household.

When I purchased this I did not know it was a used phone. There was several names and numbers entered in the memory and it was missing one of the plastic covers for the photo buttons. It seems to funtion OK so far.
