Like another reviewer mentions, it isn't exactly easy to figure out how to use it right away. It doesn't come with any instructions. And when I saw the tiny "brush", I thought it was a joke. But it works. It's a tiny piece of velcro-like material glued to a tiny magnet. You use the larger magnet to control it's movement. I used it to clean out the long hoses of my Rena Filstar XP2 canister filter. As anyone with this filter knows, taking off and putting back on the rubber hose & hose clamps is a real pain. With this little thing, I don't have to take them off. It loosens all the gunk in the hose, and then I rinse it out. I wish one brush did it all, but I find I have to use a combo of brushes and tools to get the job done.

Product has a bit of a learning curve to use. Be aware it is not a round brush but approximately 1 by 2 cm pad.If you have quick access attachments to your intake and spray bar you can actually clean your lines with the filter on (after turning off momentarily to drop pad in). I use long strokes straight up and down, rotating 90 degrees and the cleaning is amazingly fast.I do wish the magnet was a bit more powerful to make getting through thick plastic connection easier.
