Beds are very sturdy and nice wood. We got everything together and at the end when we put the ladder on, we had our son try it out. The ladder is only connected on the left side in two spots. It leaves the right side all wiggly and unstable. It ends up pulling the side rail while they try to climb up to the top bunk. We had to use another piece of wood and create another stabilizer piece and use two screws to hold the ladder on, on the right side. I do not think we would get these again if I knew this was an issue. We spent a good amount on these and I would like to assume we don’t need to figure out how to make the bed stable for my children.

The size is a good size . I have it has a bunk bed but I love I can take it apart so they each have their own bed if needed to be. It was easy to set up , just need another person to help put the top bed on if you make it into a bunk bed.
