I recieved this item alomost a week prior to the estimated delivery date, which was awesome! I love the feel & crisp of this bowtie. The moment I wore it I recieved lots of compliements. I will most definately be ordering from TopTie in the near future!

This tie is adjustable, but the unique adjusting mechanism is less obtrusive than normal, so it could feasibly be worn with a shirt that has a point collar where the tie band is exposed in the back. I have a 15 1/2" neck, and when I tried it on I had to put the adjuster to its second-longest setting, so I don't know it this tie would be long enough for someone with a particularly beefy neck. It creates a very wide bow, so beware of that if you're looking for something a little more dainty. It does the job, though, and it's a good tie to use if you're just learning how to tie a bow.

This is a great tie for the money, and could work well as a starter tie. It is made with decent material. Like most bow ties you'll buy it is adjustable in the back. It is shiny and looks a bit too formal for normal wear, but I think it would make a good formal tie for black tie events.
