This item was recommended to me by my son-in-law. I was skeptical because I usually use the citronella candles, but I purchased this to try it out. I am a mosquito attraction! I am also allergic to their bites and they itch horribly, swell up then stay for days. I read the directions and set it up 15 minutes before I actually went out to enjoy my patio. It works!! Not one bite. The only negative thing is; when you click the start the orange glow is not very visible in lighted areas. I wasn't really sure it was lighted untill I felt the warmth from the top. I would definitely recommend this item for keeping an area free from mosquitoes. Oh! Let's not forget that this is also a very bright lantern that can be on with or without the repellent. There is no scent unless you get very close. This lantern can be placed on a picnic table or hung above the table with the attached handle. I feel this is much safer than the candles, especially around kids.

Had it in the tent while camping. Didn't have a smell. Lasted as indicated. Not sure if 15 feet is accurate cover though. We had 2 about 10-15 feet apart.

Purchased for camping trips because I am an absolute mosquito magnet and so is my baby girl. As far as the distance of coverage...eh it's shorter than advertised, but if you're sitting near it, you won't get bit. The light works great as well! Would recommend!

It's basically a light. The thermacell part wouldn't work. Waste of money. I have an older version that works great, I just used the fuel and pads for the old one.

Bought this for my patio as the summer of 2022 seems to be the summer of the mosquito.I love spending time on my patio but was sick of being eaten alive. Camp lamp style is cute and it's very good at making sure the skeeters stay Git Gone!

I live in the suburbs in Central New York, so my yard is not exactly swarming with mosquitos, but there's enough to be annoying in the evening. I purchased this so that I could spend a little longer on my porch without getting bit, but it really doesn't seem to do much of anything other than work as a lantern. The few times I've tried to use it, I can see and smell the repellent coming out, but the mosquitos don't care. After my third attempt I've given up, because like most people, I don't enjoy having my blood sucked by nasty little mosquitos. At least it has a second function, so it's not total garbage, but I would recommend steering clear of this product.

THESE ARE GREAT FOR AT HOME AROUND THE FIRE OR BBQ. OR CAMPING IT'S A MUST. THEY WORK SO WELL. WE NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT FOR THE RV.
