This provides good lumbar support. It is also a good size to take in the car. I use the strap around my waist at home, so no matter what chair I sit in, I have support. I would recommend this.

The Physical Therapist personally selected this lumbar roll to use. And for my condition to position the roll vertically up against the chair back while I'm sitting watching TV or anytime. He suggested vertically because he wants me to keep my spine erect in contact behind the roll and does not want me to slump by arching my back while sitting in the chair. I also use it while performing the leg and foot exercises that I trained and he asked me to continue since being discharged. I exercise with the various routines and repetitions he assigned me to continue performing everyday. I noticed that it's beneficial and I'm maintaining and not regressing from all of the sessions I attended.

My friend is a physical therapist, and I went to see her because of lower back pain. I work long hours at my desk. I bought a nicer designer looking office chair, not knowing that for as nice as it looked it was going to be uncomfortable to sit in. She had one of these at her clinic and told me ditch the chair or get the right support. For now, I'm opting for the support. The bands have lots of stretch, I was able to attach it to my chair in no time. It's made a huge difference in my posture, and has added to the comfort factor. I still may need to nix the chair, but this has helped with some of my pain, for sure.

I have only had this cushion for one day, but the relief that it has given me for my sciatica is immediate and noticeable. I like the firmness and the size, I think that it was definitely worth the money for what it is and I was able to get it quickly when I really needed it which I appreciate. My only complaint is that I actually wish the strap was fully removable, because I find that it gets in the way sometimes, and if I could unclip it when I don't need it that would be great.

It would be perfect if it were larger in diameter. It's almost too narrow to be useful. If you find you need it to be broader wrap a towel around it, which shouldn't be necessary if its diameter were wider. The foam or material has the right support and firmness, but the diameter is a big miss. If they'd make this improvement, it would likely be a perfect or nearly so product for me. I should say that I like the strap. That's good addition to the product and the covering is good, too.
