By manipulating the mechanical specifications of Polyethylene Terepthalate filaments, the engineers at Techflex have produced a product with the same characteristics as the Flexo Pet with the added advantage of being able to cut with ordinary scissors and yet maintain a fray-resistant* end. Flexo Clean Cut™ fray-resistant properties allows frequent expansion at the cut end without unraveling. Clean Cut™ is ideal for field installers and other situations where access to a hot knife is not possible. The expandable sleeve is designed for quick and easy bundling of wires and cables. It not only provides a professional look to wire bundles but also protects from abrasion and cuts. Clean Cut™ can withstand temperature extremes from -103 °F to 437°F. with a melting temperature of 446°F. Use a hot knife for a fray-proof end. Sold in bulk or 25 ft. blister packs.
