I bought a pair of these several years ago. along with another style of Tru-Spec shorts. I really like them both. The original 24/7 are good for everyday wear due to they fit as expected and have enough room for expansion. The True-Spec simply tactical seem to run a little small so I wear them for work. I really like the cargo pockets because they allow access without velcro or button closures. Also the pocket behind cargo pocket is real handy. The only drawback is the price. Their a little pricey for work shorts considering I'm a carpenter and do a lot of remodeling.

Ive been wearing Tru Spec shorts for about 5 years. I love them. They wear and fit great and are a fraction of the price of well-known competing brand. These are all I buy!

I have a 28 waist and athletic build and got a size 28. It fit like a glove as far as waist and length. Hit right at mid lower thigh for me. Little snug in the hip area unfortunately so I think the 30 might fit me better for more of a relaxed fit.

I wear a 36 in everything else I own, but found that size way too constricting for the way these shorts are cut and had to size up one. Otherwise, good quality shorts, happy with them.
