As some reviewers said, it was hard to put the umbrella up at first, but I was doing it wrong! You have to take your thumb off of the white button when you put it up. The white button is just to release it when you want to put it down. It won't click and stay up at all if you have your thumb on the button.Also, this is not meant to be a sturdy, heavy duty umbrella. It is designed to be a very small, lightweight umbrella for emergency use, when you don't have the space to carry a big, high quality umbrella. I needed something very small and light for a trip to Italy, because I only had a carryon suitcase, and I didn't want it to be overweight. (Turns out nobody ever weighed it, even though they have stated weight limits.) But this umbrella suited its purpose perfectly. And I love the color, it matches my suitcase!

I got one of this a while ago and I was really pleased with my purchase, but I recorded the “sane” umbrella but did not look like the 1st one . Color is different (not same baby pink color ) . This one is almost purple and material feels different as well . Loved the 1st one 2nd one not very much . It feels like two different item and was soppoused to be the same

I liked that it was compact and was good for travel, so I took it with me on a trip this weekend. I opened it up and I could not get it to stay open, so I had to throw it out
