It's hard to tell, but there are little white polka dots on the black ribbing. It's cute, just not shown on any picture I found. The shape of the parasol is exactly the look I wanted - very French and vintage looking. It's built a little cheaply - you can tell by the when trying to use the open/close button, but for display/decorative purposes, it's going to be perfect. The staff at OpenTip were helpful in trying to save me money with my purchase - so that was very nice.

I get so many compliments when I use this umbrella. The black trim has little polka dots. Owned this umbrella for a year and still working. I love that it has a clip down by the handle (see pic). This ensures it doesn't slide back open even if I don't use the snap enclosure. Sometimes I come in out of the rain at my job and it busy at the entrance. I can just close the umbrella and keep moving . I don't need to stop and wrap the enclosure around and snap it to ensure it doesn't slide open. This way I don't keep people standing out in rain waiting for me to get out of their way. I'm happy with this purchase.

Initially, I bought this exact same umbrella from another seller. It was $8 more expensive. When I found this seller I bought the same umbrella and compared them side-by-side and they are identical! So I returned the more expensive one, and bought two more of these in different colors.I love the light pink and dark pink ones, however I am going to return the white one because it's more of an off-white.I would say for the price, from the second seller, these are beautiful, lady-like and offer good sun protection. I've also used them in the rain, though only a couple of times, and they've held up. I think these are a good buy!

It is adorable and works very well but be careful with the handle and using it on a Very windy day, it could end badly. It wobbles and shifts even when closed.

I bought the red one the shape is absolutely amazing and I got so many compliments on it. It seems to me it’s larger than a typical umbrella but not by much. It looks exactly like the picture, except it should be noted that the black lines/edges on it is actually black with white polka dots (you can only see them in the product image if you zoom in.) I’m fairly sure I can cover that up with some paint, but we’ll see. Its not heavy and gives me a decent amount of shade. I’ve accidentally stepped on it a few times (through no fault of the umbrella) and it hasn’t gotten any visible damage/broken, but that might be luck of course.
