This package includes 100 common anode RGB LEDs together with 600 voltage dropping resistors for use with either 5 VDC or 12 VDC source voltages.

RGB LEDs Light Emitting Diode are great for creating custom light effects for displays, in vehicles, on motorcycles, instrument panels... anywhere accent lighting is needed. This RGB LED is waterproof for use on boats or outdoors and are tested to last 100,000 hours (over 10 years) and use virtually no power at all-1/4 watt at most-while providing up to 5,000 mcd of output. Also included are resistors to use these common anode RGB LEDs with 5 or 12 VDC sources.
When powered by 12 VDC, the red cathode should be wired with a 510 ohm resistor in series, while the green and blue cathodes should be wired with a 470 ohm resistor in series.
When powered by 5 VDC, the red cathode should be wired with a 180 ohm resistor in series, while the green and blue cathodes should be wired with a 100 ohm resistor in series.
