The belt clip has a 1-3/4\" diameter rubberized pad keep the clip in place a provide a comfortable support for the tool. Bungee-Balls stay on the tool, 3 Bungee-Balls are included with the belt clip. These clips are extremely handy when nailing siding up or using a small nail gun when you'll be doing a lot of moving. The only draw back would be if you have multiple sets of bag or like to sometimes take your bags off just the fact that you'll constantly have to move the the plastic clip on and off of your belt.
