Stephanie Black Leather Dance Shoes - 11001-11

I thought these would look nice and be as comfortable as the other Capezio dance shoes I have, but they have tight toes and I couldn't wear them more than a few minutes. Granted my feet are wider than most women's but the rest of the shoe was fine, only the toes.

They fit true to size. The material is sort of thin and floppy, but we had no choice but to buy these as they are the only shoe that her choir team use.

Although I have been a ballroom dancer since 2019 and have dabbled with dance lessons long before this I am only just learning about dance shoes. These shoes slide well but the ball of the shoe scuffs easily and even more importantly for me makes a lot of noise along with the heel and for someone with hyperacusis and delicate feet this is not good. The fit is about as good as to be expected but my right foot is bigger or different than my left one. It would have been more appropriate for the ball of the outsole to be covered in swede anyway and for me a rubber tip at the heel is appropriate even though this is not standard practice for ballroom women dancers. I like the overall look of the shoe.

I am a true 7.5, always have been. All the reviews said to size up. I was skeptical as these are character/dance shoes which 1) should fit snug 2) are made of soft leather that stretches. Glad I bought 1 of each before my event as the size up was way too big. I only half sized up to an 8. Attached photo is the 8. 7.5 fit perfect, they’re incredibly comfortable, no need to break in and very flattering.
