This works perfect in my older steelman flex light. The factory replacement bulb was 12100, this replaced it nicely with a brighter more focused light.

The original bulb lasted like 15 years. The replacement bulb I bought the krypton version lasted like just 3 years. This time I bought an led.In typical led fashion it's a whiter lighter and its bright. However its more focused and less of a flood pattern. This could be good or bad depending what you're trying to light. Kinda wished it had a more even spread and less of a focused pattern from the tip.

Replacement bulb worked fine in my steelmen brand light ( bought from mac tools ).I was a little disappointed withthe brightness, I thought an led would havebeen much brighter than the original. However, it was good enough to do what I need.

Works well to replace the glass incandescent bulb that comes with Steelman standard inspection light. Very bright, runs cold, and the batteries last much longer.
