We use these for hauling heavy 5 gallon buckets miles thru the woods. The comfortable padded adjustable straps make it easy for adults or even our children are able to use these. Definitely a lifesaver for us!!

I bought this pack frame to transport items to and from the beach. Being a senior citizen the frame allows me to pack two beach chairs, beach blankets, a cooler, an umbrella and other items which are easily packed, secured with bunji cord and easily transported without being uncomfortable to wear. It's well worth the price

So i live out in alaska and each year i go moose hunting and bear hunting. Its something that we have to do and every year we usually make straps using the skin on moose or bears. I've used these packs before and loved it so i ordered one. Just to test how much weight it can hold i had my daughter sit on it and act as if i hunted her while i hold one of my rifles. I'm sure itll hold a moose leg or more. We've put ribs along with the neck on these things and they did great. I've seem some packs so old and beaten and they used ropes to hold the bottom up this one looks like it would last for a life time and I'm sure its going to make life much more easier. I'd like to purchase another one just for my son.

“Table” held on with velcro. Probably so it will break.

Straps are not even close to long enough to strap your load on. Therefore sending it back

Excellent design, though some supplemental information should be referenced for setup, such as “sizing” the pack on the rack and adjusting for personal comfort. I look forward to using it in the field.

I like the straps and padding, the frame design is well done. I would have liked a few more options to mount things to the pack, but I've been able to make it work. The back of the pack sticks up pretty high even when adjusted all the way down. The rings in the pins are very cheap, and one of them un spiraled itself when it got caught on a branch. Its not to bad though for the money.

Best pack for the money, could have a solid shelf but the straps work just a pain to haul wood longer than a foot but comfort and construction is solid

After just a few short hours of use carrying liquids (water packs, herbicide sprayer; so less than 42 pounds) one of the shoulder straps separated near the bottom of the frame. Given other reviewers' comments, it seems that the other straps may also fail. So I'm going to have to learn how to sew webbing.Aside from questionable reliability, it's comfortable and light enough. My uses are relatively unconventional, but with a touch of creativity and some add-on straps and accessories, I think it will do the job. It's a shame when manufacturers can't improve their quality control.

I have put over 150 miles on this since i bought it. Anywhere from 35 to 60 lbs and had no problems. very comfortable, All of my hiking is in the northern mts of New Mexico. So the balance of the pack has to be right, and with this pack frame it's easy to balance all my stuff. I would highly recommend.

I have not yet used the frame, but it certainly met my expectations! I have used other frames, and the shelf is a handy feature.

This is my first external frame. I wanted something to which I could tie customized modular components. I tend to compare it against frames that cost 2-3X. In that light, a 4* frame that works for me is a bargain. For its price, I'd almost rate this frame a 5* frame. Almost.I put 65# on this frame, and carried it for 3 miles, +2000 vertical feet. It's probably the last time I'll ever do that! But not because of the frame. The harness adjusted well to me. Remember before you gripe: Packs are made adjustable and need to be adjusted! Despite the weight, the load was comfortable. I am happy with the frame and will probably use it the rest of my life. There are, however, reasons I could not rate this frame better than 4* and would probably rate it 3 1/2*, were it possible. One reviewer complained of the shoulder strap coming undone, making a difficult hike nearly impossible. That is one reason I took a hard look at the webbing. The other reason is that the webbing looks cheap, and it is. (Consider the price.) The webbing on the shoulder harnesses was very light-duty for a pack rated 75#. However, the killer is that the straps were stitched, and on one strap the stitching was only 50% complete and was loose! (Would have broken on me had I not caught it.) Furthermore, I think stitching is a weak frame connection and should not be used. I ripped the seams on both sides (where the strap connects to the frame) and tied it on with a figure-8-hitch, the way I want it done. The knot required an extra 8 inches of webbing, making the strap almost too short. Thus, following the maiden voyage, I have replaced the two shoulder straps (30" long) with two heavier & longer straps. I had the straps on hand, so I cannot suggest a price. However, a bit of webbing is cheap. For this sloppiness, I dock the frame 1/2*.I like the frame. It is light-weight and (now) strong. I could find no complaint with the (metal) frame: Welds are solid; it is rigid & strong. The harness could certainly be better, but not for the price paid. If my rectified harness fails me, I'll fix it; and I don't expect that to happen very soon. Someone buying a naked frame is going to have to get involved with it and should expect to have to make it work. Otherwise, they should buy a factory-configured setup.

I bought this to carry my Primos Escape Deluxe blind. Works pretty good. Can haul blind, two Primos chairs, and a medium sized fanny pack. The Primos Escape Deluxe blind carry sack with unpadded backpack straps had the bottom of the blind hitting the back of my calfs, which later brused due to this contact. With this pack frame, problem solved, no more hitting blind on the back of my calfs. I'm 5'11", if you were maybe 6'5" the blind might not hit your calfs, I don't know.

Works great for hauling Elk Quarters over long distances. I used mine last week to haul the head and meat over a mile from our camp. The suspension and harness work really good for distributing the weight, the only difficulty is initially standing up with the pack. The pack is at least equal or superior to higher price ones! Its a good buy.

The cross bar on the lower part of the frame would dig into my lower back. Gonna try adding some padding to see if that will help.
