These straps are very easy to use and make setting up my hammock temporarily anywhere with two close trees a breeze. However, if you only loop them around the tree once and leave the rest of the strap to bridge the extra distance between trees my hammock needs to be set up nearly too high off the ground to get in to avoid sagging to the ground once I am in. Forget about it if you have a two person hammock. To fix this i usually wrap the strap multiple times around the tree and use a different rope to extend it if the trees are too far apart. These are my first set of hammock straps and I expected less stretch, but this may be a design flaw of most tree straps.

These tree straps hold my (rather large) hammock securely without slipping or injuring the trees. I would recommend these straps to anyone wishing to hang a hammock from trees.

Extremely easy to set up and use. I had to double wrap one of them around a tree to get the distance correct for my hammock, but still works great.

They are very sturdy and do the job but they are very long. I had to wrap the around a couple of tree trunks. Maybe I missed the length when I was ordering and could have gotten shorter ones.

These work great, even on our palm trees which have a very straight and smooth trunk.The only minus are the quite poor instructions - text only, no pictures.But someone here posted a link to a Youtube video in their review.

I have had a big rope hammock that I bought in Mexico about a decade ago that I have really never gotten to use until I got these straps. I kept trying to figure out if I just needed ropes and carabiners and then I saw these straps and decided to give them a try. They were super easy to use and I couldn't be happier. Straps are long and the S hooks seem very sturdy. I weigh about 230 and sat in the hammock with kids and didn't feel like they were under too much stress. Wide straps also are a great idea as it didn't damage the bark on the trees at all. Even slept in the hammock one night and it was great.Wish I had bought them a decade ago!

I NEEDED TO PURCHASE TWO OF THESE FOR MY SWING. THESE ARE HEAVY NYLON AND SEEM TO DO THE TRICK. I HAD TO HAVE TWO FOR THE LENGTH BECAUSE AFTER I WRAPED IT AROUND THE LIMB THAT WAS STURDY ENOUGH. IT WASNT LONG ENOUGH.

These straps stretched a lot more than I thought. If you know this going in, it's a lot easier to plan for it. I normally hang my hammock about waist height, but due to the stretch of these, I would hang it more about neck or shoulder height to still be 20 off the ground. Otherwise, I'm completely happy with the length and strength of these. Good bang for your buck, really.
